Paulina Wycichowska – Polish dancer, soloist of the Polish Dance Theater in Poznań, dance teacher and choreographer, daughter of Ewa Wycichowska.
A graduate of the General Ballet School of Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska in Poznań (1995) and London Contemporary Dance School (1998), where she studied contemporary dance in the executive, pedagogical and choreographic dimension. Paulina is also a graduate of the University of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (professional diploma in church music and theology, 2008).
She is a laureate of the Poznań City Award for Young Artists for the performance “Stop non stop” (2011). She was a scholarship holder of the British Council (1996), danceWEB at the festival and international contemporary dance workshops ImPulsTanz in Vienna (1998), the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (observer of the Bagnolet Choreographic Competition in Paris – 2000) and the Marshal of the Greater Poland Voivodeship (2009). She took part in the international Pointe to Point project organized by the ASEF Asia – Europe Foundation, during which she collaborated with internationally renowned artist Ben Cabrera. In 2011, she received the prestigious scholarship of the Young Poland Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and in 2013 she was awarded a scholarship addressed to outstanding artists in various fields of art.
